Hey!
My name is Amanda Sparkes and I am going to be blogging for you today.
So... the title sums it up for you - we went to the Fruit Plantation in the morning and then the Baseball Academy in the afternoon.
I found helping the farmer, Pastor Julio, to be really rewarding. What we managed to do in 1 hour, he would have done in 2 days.
When we went to the Baseball Academy, the boys there were so nice to all of us, and they helped us when we messed up - which was often. Even the coaches took us aside and helped us improve our game, and even though we weren't the best players, the whole team helped.
It was a day full of laughter and love and I wouldn't change a single thing about it.

The bathroom.....it explains itself. (Note lack of door.) |

Lindsay needed proof that she did work on a farm. Won't her mother be proud? |

So this was Lindsay, Fearny, Samuel, and me trying to pick up some new baseball skills. Trying is the key word. |
